Case study 24-02

BMW M3 Touring

Optics / layer · Paint correction + ceramic coating

BMW M3 Touring after paint correction, side view in graphite light.

Starting point

Daily M3 Touring, 18,000 km, wash-hall swirls across the dark metallic, baked insects on the nose. Thickness within a safe window.

Brief

Bring swirls down to a calm reflection, then a maintainable coating. No PPF on this object.

Treatment

Two-step correction on horizontals, one-step on verticals, panel wipe, professional SiO₂ coating, 24-hour cure.

Visual result

Reflections run quieter. Insect etching on the nose is reduced, not erased where the clear coat was already marked. Coating makes washing more predictable.

Coated bonnet of the M3 Touring with a tight highlight.
