What it is
Signature Detail is not a quick wash. It is a multi-stage decontamination: safe washing, chemical and mechanical particle removal, arches, window seals, glass, and an interior that leaves the atelier dry and dust-free. Paint is assessed, not blindly made glossy.
Who it is for
Daily drivers that need to read clean again, lease cars before return, and any object that will later take coating or PPF. Also used as maintenance between heavier treatments.
Process
- 01Intake
Condition, previous work and sensitive areas are logged.
- 02Pre-wash & contact wash
pH-matched chemistry, two-bucket method, microfibre — no sponge grinding grit in.
- 03Decontamination
Iron, tar and bonded dirt come off before polishing or coating.
- 04Wheels & arches
Inner barrel, brake dust, tyre sidewall. No dressing that smears for weeks.
- 05Interior dry
Dust, mats, glass, vents. Wet work only where it earns its place.
- 06Finish
Glass, panels, a light sealant if no coating follows. Final check under the lamp.
Expected result
A clean, quiet surface: no wash marring, no dead insects in the door seals, no dull wheels. The paint is ready to be judged for correction or protection — not promised ‘as new’ when that is untrue.
