What it is

Paint correction removes or reduces defects in the clear coat by taking off a controlled amount of material. We work in stages: thickness readings, a test panel, then one or more polish stages. Deep scratches through to colour, or stone chips, are not filled here — they stay visible or need a body shop.

Who it is for

Cars with wash-hall swirls, dull paint after years of upkeep, or objects about to take ceramic coating or PPF. PPF over dirty, holographic paint locks the defects in.

Process

  1. 01Measurement

Thickness per panel. Too thin? We stop or limit the correction.

  2. 02Test spot

One panel sets pad, compound and a realistic depth.

  3. 03Multi-stage polish

From cutting to finishing. Dust extraction, panel by panel.

  4. 04Inspection

Hard lamp, raking light, wet check. No phone flash as proof.

  5. 05Protection

At minimum a sealant; coating or PPF is a separate treatment.

Expected result

Tighter reflections, fewer swirls in sunlight, deeper colour. We do not promise 100% defect-free paint — that would thin the clear coat too far.

Duration

1 to 2 working days for a multi-stage correction.

A one-step refresh sits lower. Heavily damaged or resprayed panels need a fresh assessment.

Maintenance

Hand wash, clean microfibre, no filthy wash-hall brushes. Without a coating the finish returns faster.
