Case study 24-01

Porsche 911

Film / satin · Satin PPF, full body

Porsche 911 in satin PPF, three-quarter front view in a dark studio.

Starting point

New 911 with gloss factory paint. A few transit swirls on the bonnet, otherwise intact. The brief was no colour change — stone-chip protection and a quieter satin reading.

Brief

Full body in satin PPF, badges back, edges clean in the shuts. No wrap, no colour shift.

Treatment

One-step refinement of the bonnet, full decontamination, computer-cut satin PPF panel by panel, post-heat, 48 hours atelier cure.

Visual result

Gloss is gone, form remains. Stone chips sit in the film. Edges are readable in raking light. No promise of invisibility — an even satin skin, yes.
